Half a Ring?

I'm planning a day and night in Dingle (first day Dublin to Galway, second day Galway to Ennis, third day Ennis to Dingle and driving the Dingle Peninsula road). I don't think I then have time for another day to drive the entire Ring of Kerry Road but I really want to see one of the ring forts. Would the following be do-able in a single day? Leave Dingle in the morning, drive to Kenmare (see the sheep farm on the way), then drive clockwise on the Ring Road (seeing the sites) to Staigue Ring Fort, and then turn around and return back to Kenmare for the night? How long would it take? Thank you.

We did the Ring in 2019, but we stopped for the night in Portmagee in order to do the Skellig Michael landing tour (which was our favorite all-time experience, but it was during puffin season).

We were advised at a lunch stop that the buses all go anti-clockwise, but we steadied on clockwise because I'd much rather meet an occasional bus head-on than follow one forever. It turned out to be a nothing burger, as the roads are quite good.

Is there a reason to go to Kenmare before driving the Ring? Not sure what sheep farm you're targeting. If you drove CCW (with the buses) you could see the entire ring and still accomplish the tasks outlined and include the Kerry Cliffs - which we found to be like Moher without the tourists. Might be challenging with the shorter days of winter if that's when you're going. Less than a four hour drive plus stops for sightseeing.
