Guinness Storehouse Tours

SIAP. What are the tour options for Guinness Storehouse? Viator offers a 4 hour tour. One can book a self guided tour at the Guinness Storehouse itself. Is there a better time of day? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

We did the self-guided tour a few years ago. Just purchased tickets onsite and wandered around the building to see the various exhibits. The ticket included a beverage which could be consumed in one of several locations. We had a beer at the Gravity Bar on the 7th (top) floor. Very enjoyable. We visited one weekday afternoon in June and didn't encounter any crowds until we got to the Bar. Have fun!

Two years ago we did the self guided tour. It was relaxing and fun. Things were laid out quite well and are self explanatory. The Gravity Bar was quite busy.

Back in May 2018 we just walked over one afternoon and purchased tickets. The Connoisseur Experience is well worth the extra cost. Sláinte!

We did the self-guided tour. We chose to learn how to execute a perfect pour. I still have my diploma.

It’s really set up for self guided. We bought our tickets online directly from Guinness and chose a late afternoon time so we could combine our visit with dinner, there are several restaurants inside. Had the best Guinness stew with brown bread. Then headed up to the Gravity Bar to use our free pour coupon. Very enjoyable afternoon/evening.

We liked doing the self guided tour. We enjoyed having lunch in the on site restaurant as well. We walked to the Guinness storehouse after our tour of Kilmainham Gaol, which I highly recommend. Tickets need to be purchased in advance.

We were there in late morning on a Saturday in mid-September 2019. We did the self-guided tour, and we found the most popular activities were so crowded that we skipped them. At that time we were able to walk in and there was no wait to buy a ticket. We had to go on a Saturday because it was the only day our traveling companions were in town before our tour started, but I would suggest going on a weekday.
