the Best of Ireland book says there are numerous guided tours of the Peninsula and refers you to page175. There are no tours listed or described on that page or any other that I can find.

Are you looking to book a tour? Tim Collins, who also runs Kirrary B&B, does tours. Google the B&B, there's info on that site.

I took the archaeological tour with Mr. Collins and really enjoyed it. There were only two of us on the tour that day so we were able to ask him a lot of questions about the area, his time in the Garda (police force) and more. It was about 2-3 hours long and cost 25€ when I went in April. It was a combination of history and culture of the peninsula in addition to some pop culture references (the new Star Wars movies are filmed there).
