Group of 10 adults in Ireland

Hi All!

We will be traveling for our 50th birthday in late September next year (2023). We will have 4 days in Ireland before heading to Scotland. We are in the beginning stages of planning itineraries and finding places to stay. We plan on doing a majority together but also can separate at times. I guess my question would be, where are the best parts of Ireland and places to stay that accommodate a larger group? Has anyone traveled with a group this size and do you have any advice? Several of us have been to Ireland on the East side, and are not opposed to visiting there again if that is the better place for all.
TIA!

It would be easiest logistically to just remain in Dublin and do day trips and tours from there. As you're already aware there's plenty to see and do in the city itself, with Newgrange, the Boyne Valley, and maybe Belfast available for day trips for some or all of you together.
Another option might be to head directly up to Belfast upon arrival in Dublin (there's an express bus right from the airport) and base yourselves there, being then able to explore the beautiful city with short day trips up to the Causeway Coast and the walled city of Derry. You could then fly to Scotland from Belfast Airport without needing to backtrack to Dublin.
Either of those would allow everyone to unpack once and be done with it, thus minimizing the hassle that would accompany having to relocate such a large group.
