Good places to eat along the way!

We would love some of your favorite places/pubs to eat in the following towns or along the way:

Dublin, Kilkenny, Kenmare, Dingle, Ennis, Galway.

Thanks! Sandy

The only place I went to on this list is Dublin. Lots of choices there!
We particularly enjoyed the Palace Bar pub because it was one of the pubs featured in The Irish Pub documentary (on Netflix).
We also ate at and enjoyed Gallaghers Boxty, The Pig's Ear and a two star Michelin restaurant called Patrick Guilbaud.
Have fun!

In Kilkenny we always gravitate to Kyteler’s Inn. The food is good and the place has an interesting history.

Kenmare has several pubs and I don’t think you will go wrong in any of them. There are also some well liked restaurants, including the Lime Tree, Packies, and Mulcaheys, but can’t personally vouch for them since we are pub only diners.

In Ennis we have eaten at Brogan’s a couple of times. We tried the Poet’s Corner but it was a super busy night with lots of people in and out of the hotel, found it too distracting. Our B&B hostess recommended the Cloister but we didn’t get there.

When we go to Galway we stay in Salthill, where we like an Italian place called La Collina. There is another spot here called the Oslo Bar and Microbrewery, where they have a huge selection of beers. We only had snacks at the bar with our beers but the tables were all full of diners. In Barna, the opposite direction, we like Donnelly’s. We tend to wander around Galway until we find a place that looks interesting and stop in, so can’t suggest any specific place in the center.
