I am traveling August 2016 to Ireland for 3weeks. Note to start: I will not be driving on this trip. I'd like to choose 3-5 cities as home bases and take day tours by bus/train to major sites in other cities. I'm sure Galway, Dublin, Belfast all qualify (correct me if I'm wrong)..But I don't know where to stay to launch out from the south and west sides. Which are most centrally located with good your connections? Thank you.
