I am traveling alone and trying to golf along with checking out all the must see sites.
I am thinking of playing golf at Dooks GL that is on the Ring of Kerry in the morning. This way I have the afternoon to complete the Ring drive. I have plans to have already done the Ring in Dingle since I am staying there prior to going to Dooks.
Dooks is on the NE corner of the ring. Do you think if I start in the afternoon (2 pm start) and go counter clockwise on the drive will I be behind most of the tour buses? Shouldnt they be two or three hours ahead of me by that time? I thought I read that buses have to go counter clockwise.
Will they mostly be well past the area I will be driving where I can find parking easier at all the hot spots?
I am still staying in the Dingle area so I will be returning there after the drive.
I will be traveling alone so I think I can do the drive in less time maybe four or five hours since I don't think I will stop that often. That way I finish the ring around 6 or 7 pm.
