My advice is to look at B And B Ireland and Booking.com websites AND Individual B and B websites. Glendalough is one of the most popular sites in Ireland. I would also recommend a B and B rental just south of Dublin (Dun Laoghaire for example). Then it is only a short drive to/from Glendalough. And, you are a bus ride to Dublin (don't drive in Dublin -ever) and the Airport. You can also book a day tour from Dublin (ahead of time). Do NOT pay for high-priced hotels/B and Bs IN Dublin. Besides Dun Laoghaire, the Dublin northern 'burbs of Swords and Glasnevin not far from the airport would also work for Glendalough, --just a little farther travel time. It depends on what direction you go next.
