Hi, does anybody know if you can go into the gift shop at Guinness without going on the tour?

No unfortunately you must pay for a tour to hit the gift shop. DH loves his Guinness but felt the tour was a huge overpriced letdown.
Some merchandise is in souvenir stores but nowhere near the selection at the Storehouse.

My husband and I enjoyed the tour. Yes it is an overpriced pint but the staff was courteous and the advertising displays were really cool. And the gift shop was fantastic. I was surprised about the prices- both my hubby and I thought they were very reasonable on most items. The view from the top floor was awesome. Watching the bartenders meticulously pour the pints was interesting-- they don't hand them over till the pint is PERFECT! And if you only want a half pint they tear your ticket in half so you can get your other half pint later during your visit.
Btw-if you don't like Guinness ask them to add Ribena to it. That black currant juice really knocks the bitter edge off the Guinness. Got that tip from a cabby and so I actuallly enjoyed several pints of Guinness in Ireland though I couldn't stand it in the states!
