We will be in Dublin for a few extra days and want to take a day tour to the Giants Causeway. Any recommendations for tours? Would prefer a small group or private guide rather than a big bus but would consider that too. Thanks for any suggestions.

Greetings from Ireland. Theres a lot of tours these days. Paddywagon and Irish Day Tours are the two big ones, good tours, good prices and 52 people usually crammed onto the bus. But hey, you get to see the sights and the guide is good and the bus clean.
There are smaller operators and private guides but this would cost considerably more. I don't guide tours like that anymore, as Im on the road guiding Rick Steves Best of Ireland and Heart of Ireland Tours, but I can pass you a list of recommendations if you like, you can also find some good guides on sites like Viator and Getyourguide.com.
However, you might also consider taking the train to Belfast and hiring a black taxi and driver to take you to the Causeway, that way you'll get some real authentic Northern Flavour!
