Hi….Our first Rick Steves tour….”The Heart of Ireland in 6 nights” June 23-29/24. My husband and I are flying to Dublin airport June 21st and will take the bus to Ennis, then get to the Old Ground Hotel for 2 nights pre tour. (I chose flying into Dublin vs Ennis as more flights available to us.) Now I am a tad nervous about this decision. We will be pooped as coming from BC , but figure once we get to the hotel we can chill!….. Comments? Thanks!

FYI....the bus from Dublin Airport to Ennis will take between 3.5 and 4 hours depending on the service you choose.
You might want to reconsider spending the first night in Dublin and then catching the bus or train to Ennis. The train involves one stop. The train and bus station in Ennis is the same place.

Thanks for your comment. We will take the bus as we arrive into airport around 10am. Also….we are already spending 3 nights after our tour in Dublin as well….. before we take a cruise Dublin to Oslo…. As many of you know , the hotel prices were crazy expensive in Dublin due to Taylor Swift being in town.
