I will be arriving at the Dublin airport at 8:30AM on Tuesday and will be tired after flying from the US all night. What is the best way for me to get from the airport to downtown near Rosie Hackett bridge? Taxi? Bus? other?
You can take an Aircoach bus from the airport to the O’Connell Bridge, turn left along the river, and walk a very short distance to the Rosie Hackett Bridge.
If you want a personal, but more expensive ride (about €35), go by taxi.
But a bus, either with the Aircoach or the Dublin Express line, is much cheaper and will get you to one bridge over (O’Connell Bridge), which is a two minute walk from the Rosie Hackett. You can pay the bus driver, or order even cheaper tickets online.
I've been to Dublin a few times and usually take the bus. Last time I took a taxi. Taxi was easy but did cost a bit more. It depends on your budget.
Thank you! I also learned there is an app called Freenow that has mulitple options to choose from.
