We will be making our second trip to Ireland in May. Usually, we do not like to drive in cities. We prefer using public transportation and then driving a car out in the country. Is this the best plan for a first visit to Belfast and Northern Ireland? We do want to get to other points in Northern Ireland, as well as a few in the north of the republic that we missed in 2015.
Public transport. Use park and ride for either the trains or the bus. Belfast has a very compact city centre which for most people is easily walkable. Where in the Belfast area will you be staying?
We will choose an Airbnb location that has good public transportation access. Thanks for your reply. It confirms what we had considered.
