I'm looking for a daytrip to Belfast (from Dublin) that includes filming sites from Game of Thrones. Can anyone recommend a group or private tour, or even a taxi that could take us on a 1/2 day tour? Also, has anyone taken the train from Dublin to Belfast? Any tips or recommendations, and how easy is it?

Our son looked into a tour that originates in Dublin for some GOT locations. It leaves at 7:45 AM from near the Hilton on the Liffey. http://www.gameofthronestours.com/dublin-winterfell-locations-trek/
Ultimately they decided not to take it because they only had 2 days to explore Dublin.

Ireland.com is a website where you can get information on a GOT tour. Also, check out McCombs Coaches for their GOT tour. I haven't used either tour (yet) but they're a start. Winter is coming...
