This might interest some of you. I just got an e-mail from Northern Ireland Tourism announcing lots of Game of Thrones theme stuff to do, including: an exhibition, a tour, an archery experience and a self-driving tour of filming sites.
The Game of Thrones Exhibition (link here) is coming back to Belfast for a few days in June. It was a very popular event last year. You have to go online to get the FREE tickets and these go very quickly, quite understandably.
The dates last June fit in quite nicely into our Ireland plans, and I was lucky to score the free tickets. We enjoyed it quite a bit and I even got to sit on the Iron Throne. :-)
FYI, since the tickets went very quickly, last year I was only able to get 1 ticket each for different time slots the same afternoon. When we got there, they let us in all together. So try that, if you have a hard time seeing availability: put in for just one ticket and see what comes up.
