I'll be in Dublin a few days prior to the 14 day RS tour next month, and will also have a little free time in Belfast at the end of the tour.

-Are there any fun day tours to visit GoT filming locations ?

-or to see the amazing doors carved from fallen trees of The Dark Hedges?

We are big fans. Just talked to my wife and she said there are some really cool tours but think it is N. Ireland. I am not sure of details but bet you can find it pretty easily with a Google search.

If she brings info home I will share

I was in both Dublin and Belfast in late March, early April of this year, and in both cities you can participate in a commercial tour of the GoT sites. Yes, some of the ones advertised in Belfast actually start and end in Dublin which adds about two hours to the front and end of the tour. I didn't go on the GoT tour; however, I would recommend that you look at the viator.com web site for tours based on my experience using them for another tour; here is the link:

On the way back to the states I stopped over in Iceland for a few days and was surprised to see that GoT tours were offered in that small nation.
