Hi,
5 adults ( 3 in their early 30's and 2 in their 60's) will be in Galway for the first time. We have rented an AirBnb for 3 nights. We have rented a car but the whole driving experience in Europe will be new. Any suggestions for places to visit?

Buy Rick Steves guidebook and visit the Aron Islands one day and take his Connemara driving tour the next day: https://store.ricksteves.com/shop/p/ireland-guidebook
it's hard to make recommendations without knowing where you're coming from and going to, and what you enjoy. Trip Advisor and Google Maps will provide an endless list of Things to Do.
We’ve been checking out different areas. We thought about taking a ferry to Aran islands, driving to Cliffs of Moher and possibly Dingle. Want to spend our evenings in Galway.
I am a little nervous not knowing how the driving will be there.
Ashford Castle/Cong for the Ireland School of Falconry. Go on a hawk walk.
Driving: When/where are you renting the car? Two challenges with UK driving. Other side of the road from what you are used to and roundabouts (rotaries). There are plenty of you tube videos about the proper way to approach, drive through, and exit a roundabout. It is not something that we learn here in the US and it might be helpful. Several are put out by driving school instructors.
Think about the size of the car you have rented. Will it be big enough for 5 adults to travel comfortably with their luggage? Will it be small enough to fit down narrow roads?
The Cliffs of Moher is a 1h 45 drive from Galway which is another good day trip from Galway. Dingle is a 3h 30m drive from Dingle which is not a good day trip option.
