I doubt it is similar to your original lodging, but the Jury’s Inn provides clean, comfortable rooms and has a good location.

We stayed at Almara House just outside of Galway in the Merlin Park area (east of the city). Lovely B&B, very quiet and a short bus ride to the city.
And then about a year ago or so, we stayed at Adare Guesthouse, near the Spanish Arch. Pretty location, near a park, quiet, reasonable.
I recommend both of them.

Just about every house on College Rd. is a B&B. Ive stayed twice in College Crest House and would recommend them.
