Went to Gallaghers in Dublin this evening and was totally disappointed. Not in the food but in the attitude of the restaurant. It was no different than eating in the US. Hurry to seat, hurry to make selection, hurry to order etc etc. it was NOT a peaceful eating experience. The final straw was the inquiry into the tip we were going to leave. Even in the US the server has never asked about a tip.
Anyway Gallaghers may be historic, may be excellent food but it is definitely not a pleasurable eating experience.
