from Dublin hike/walk: Horwth cliff path or Bray to Greystones?

Hi. We are in Dublin for 2 days on a cruise. The 1st day we are going to Kilkenny and then walking around Dublin a bit. The 2nd day, we would like to do a good walk/hike with great scenery. Which is better? Horwth cliff path or Bray to Greystones? We are in decent shape, family with 2 teens, looking for easy/moderate hike for 2-4 hours via public tranist from Dublin. thanks, Elaine

Check to see how long it will take you to get to Howth from Dublin on the train. I think it took us about an hour (?) each way, so factor in that time.

The cliff path is a moderate 1-2 hour walk with great views of the sea. There is some climbing; the path takes you up and down the hill. Know that blustery weather could cut your walk short.

I haven't done the other walk.

There are also beautiful hikes of various length and strenuosity around Glendalough. You could maybe take a day tour and do that? Though I think most day tours also take you to Kilkenny. Maybe do Kilkenny/Glendalough the first day and then spend the entire second day in Dublin? There is more than enough to see, and you'll do plenty of walking. Just a thought.
