Is the best way to travel from Dingle to Ennis by bus? I don’t want to drive a car. We’d be leaving the Dingle Peninsula and heading to County Clare the Burren.
Unfortunately, the best way is by car, as Ireland is not well connected in the public transport area.
We did it by bus since we did not want to drive, either!
Thanks everyone😊
Another possible option would be to hire a private driver. Many here have recommended Tony McGann, who I believe is based out of Doolin. Can use the search feature above to read previous reviews of his services and for contact info.
The drive from Dingle up to Ennis is quite pretty on a sunny day, especially if you take the coastal route up thru Kilrush and Kilkee. Having a private driver who doubles as a tour guide might make it a very memorable experience rather that just a chore getting from Point A to Point B.
Good idea from Robert-the TI in Dingle has a couple-maybe more-of resources on their site, listed under the Activities and Adventure tab. You might contact them, or the businesses linked below from the TI site:

Awesome! Thank you everyone😊
How do we search in the forum?
It's the light gray box that says Search at the top of the page. A couple of keywords is often enough.
Edited to add: very light gray...
Thanks! I bet I don’t see because I’m on my phone. I’ll jump on my tablet later, I bet I’ll see it then😊
Meanwhile, here's his website: http://homepage.eircom.net/~tonyscabdoolin/
Haven't used him ourselves but many here recommend him.
