from dingle to Ballyvaughan optimal scenic rute thru Cliff of Mohar

HELLO
This Ireland Quality Forum
me and my wife arrive Ireland after 3 days in London
rent car in Dublin mid July 2017
drive to Kinsale for 2 days visit surrounding area
drive to Killarney thru kenmare we stay 2 nights in Killarney drive Ring of Kerry
drive to Dingle 1 night at Dingle
drive to Ballyvaughan thru Cliff of Mohar 1 night Ballyvaughan
what is optimal scenic rute ? can i get ferry from tarbert to killimer ?
after that
drive to Athlone 1 night
drive to Dublin 2 nights

back to London 2 nights 3 full days

If you're not in a hurry, crossing the Shannon via the Tarbert ferry and then meandering up the N67 thru Kilrush and Kilkee is a very pretty drive on a sunny day. There's a nice cliffside walk near the beach at Kilkee that makes for a pleasant stop.

don't miss the Cliffs of Kerry down near Valentia Island. We took the ferry going southbound. Here is a link for the ferry http://www.shannonferries.com/page/ferry-timetable/7. We drove from Doolin to the ferry and then from Tarbert to Dingle, nice scenic drive..
