From Blarney Castle to Dublin in one day

That's quite a day! Did you check Google Maps? You have about 5 hours just of driving there. Bunratty is the one throwing off your itinerary as its nowhere near your main route from Cork to Dublin.

Thanks for your input. Earlier in our trip we will be coming from Galway and staying in Killarney. Planning on seeing The Cliffs of Moher. Could we add Bunratty Castle that day, on our way to Killarney? Trying to fit in as many things as we can between overnight stays.

You would need to get an early start. The drive from Galway to the Cliffs is probably about 2 hours, maybe a little less. The weather will dictate your visit; if it’s rainy or foggy, really not worth visiting. From there you will be passing right by Bunratty Castle and Folk Park, so it makes sense to see it this day.

Then you will have a 3 hour plus drive to Killarney, so you can gauge how much time you have to spend in Bunratty.

I would fit Bunratty on your way from Galway to Killarney. I think you can do it. I highly recommend the Cliffs.. They were breath taking.
