Food Tours?

We have done a few food tours in the last couple years (most recently, Florence and Ljubljana) and loved them--vowing to do at least one on every trip. Does anyone have a recommendation on where the best place to do one is? I have read that Kinsale is the gourmet capital and I see they have a tour...but I also see tours in Dublin and Galway. Any thoughts appreciated!

We did a street food tour with Food on Foot in Dublin in May which we really enjoyed. Since it is street food, some of the places had somewhere to sit and some did not. It is different from other food tours in that you pay for the guide, but then order what you want at each stop and pay for it as you go. The guide gives you recommendations based on his favorites and how to order it. Our guide (Kevin) was really fun and had some great stories. The food was really good at each and every stop.

We did the food tour in Kinsale and while our guide was lovely and we enjoyed spending time with the other 3 people in the group (we were lucky to have such a small group as apparently they can be as large as 25) it is not something I’d pay to do again. Yes, Kinsale is the foodie capital of Ireland. But having been spoiled by 2 amazing food tours in Italy, I’d now put food tours very low on my list of all the wonderful things to do in Ireland. It’s not remotely the same (I can’t wait to do another food tour in Italy!) and we had better fish and chips elsewhere, for sure.
In Kinsale I highly recommend Max’s for an excellent 3 course dinner (Fishy Fishy is resting on the reputation of its celebrity chef and inconsistent). I also recommend the lovely farmers market where we got everything we needed for a picnic lunch at Charles Fort.

Thank you everyone! Ruth, in particular, this is super helpful! I was banking on it being good because "foodie capital" but your feedback was exactly what I was looking for.
