Flying into dublin, need transport for 6 to Galway and back.

We are flying from various US locations into Dublin airport and spending our first few days in Galway with a return to Dublin. Would like to hire a car service for the trip to Galway and a return to Dublin a few days later. In googling it many of the services seem like a booking service - like gettransfer.com. Any thoughts, recommendations or prior experiences. Thank you.

For info, many here recommend the City Link Express Bus that goes directly from the airport to the Galway city center. Cost is less than 20 euros and it takes about 2.5 hours.
Would save a lot of money versus a private car service.

Thank you. We have considered and looked at the City Link but are concerned about availability for a larger group and many comments about lack of space for luggage. Agree wholeheartedly on the expense part.

We are 8 and considering a private transfer to/from Galway after landing at DUB. We are all on the same flight from SOU. Check out this company-https://www.galwayshuttle.com/. Price is Euro 360 one-way. The company has been responsive to my emails so I suggest you contact them about how to arrange for pick up with your group arriving at the airport on different flights.
I also contacted Galway Tour Company which does offer this service for a mere Euro 875 for us 8 one-way.

If the six of you are arriving on all different flights, at least one is bound to be late enough that just rendezvousing in Galway might make more sense. That way people can take the bus as described or take a taxi/bus to Heuston and take the direct train.
