How far in advance does one need to book tickets flying from Dublin to London, July 2024? I've tried googling but I'm not getting helpful results. Thanks!
I don’t think there is any hard and fast rule. DUB to LON tends to be pretty cheap so I would book when your dates are certain and you are satisfied withthe price. If you are flying one of the discount airlines (e.g., Ryanair) the prices tend to go up as you get closer to the travel date. Make sure you consider any extra fees when comparing prices. When you check prices, use ”LON” as the airport code to include flights to any of the London airports.
If you search on googleflights, they often have info on when historically prices have been cheapest.
Thanks - that's helpful. I know lots use the discount airlines, but we will have checked bags, so might end up being cheaper to fly BA or other traditional carrier.
