Flight to Liverpool from Dublin

We are traveling to Ireland in May and staying six full days in Dublin. My husband loves the Liverpool Football Club and is interested in taking a flight from Dublin one of the days to Liverpool, England, to take a tour of the stadium. Ryanair offers relatively cheap flights from Dublin to Liverpool. We would be interested in flying to Liverpool and back in one day. Just wondering if anyone has done this before and would/would not recommend it. It is the one thing he really would love to do, but honestly I dread the logistics. Thank you in advance!!

It’s a popular route so perfectly possible.

Pay attention to Ryanair’s Terms and Conditions and make sure you follow them to the letter. Ryanair also require non-EU passengers to get their travel documents checked and stamped.

I’m not sure if this applies for travel between Ireland and the UK, but if you were travelling to France for example it would certainly apply.
