I will be in Ireland in May while the Fleadh Nua Festival is going on in Ennis. I know nothing about this, has anyone been there? Would appreciate your comments. Worth the detour? Thanks

Sorry haven't been to it ourselves....we are content getting our trad music "fix" on trad nights at local pubs. But an Irish lady we talked to in Cahirseveen talked about how wonderful it was with ongoing concerts, instructional opportunities and traditional public gatherings. She did mention Ennis was PACKED during it. So it sounds like if you're really into trad music its a great festival. If only a middling interest it might be a little tourist overwhelmed for what it's worth.
Sorry I don't have more information....hopefully someone who has been there can give you more details. ( Though we weren't there for the festival, we have been to Ennis and its a nice city).
