First timer to Ireland and I need help with itinerary

I am joining my husband for a brief business trip to Belfast in mid August for two nights. After that, we are on our own with a total of 6 nights. The first two nights will be in Dublin, after that I booked a (splurge) hotel in Aardmore for one night (Friday). The following night will be spent at a hotel on Caragh Lake in Killorglin, Co. Kerry. I have two nights left to book and am looking for suggestions...Should we spend two nights in Galway? Somewhere above the Cliffs of Moher? Should I continue breaking up the trip or spend two nights in one place? Is this too ambitious in terms of driving?

I am willing to extend my stay on Caragh Lake for another day if y'all think I should stay in one place for a spell.

Dingle.

Any chance you can fly home out of Shannon instead of having to go back east?

No, but thanks for the suggestion. What if I go from Killorglin to Dingle and spend two nights in Dingle? Skipping Galway?
I have to drive back to Dublin on Tuesday to catch an early morning flight out Dublin on Wednesday morning.

It depends on how much driving and packing you want to do. You could stay in Killorglin and use that as a base to tour the Ring of Kerry drive as well as Killarney National Park.

You will be close to Dingle, so driving there to spend two nights would be an excellent choice. I had 3 nights there and would have enjoyed spending more time. If I had to choose between Dingle and Galway, I would choose Dingle, especially since you will have some time in Dublin.

Galway is worth a visit, but with 4 nights in Belfast and Dublin, you’ll get a taste of the cities, so Dingle will provide scenic vistas and more isolated historical sites.
