Finalizing Itinerary - Any tweaks needed?

Hi Everyone! Sorry in advance for the longer post and multiple questions! First trip to Ireland and trying to firm up my itinerary and would appreciate some thoughts on a few specific questions I have. Thank you! 🍀🇮🇪

Current plan is:

  • London (4 nights)
  • Fly into SNN
  • Ennis (2 nights)
  • Dingle (3 nights)
  • Killarney (2 nights)
  • Dublin (3 nights)
  • Fly out of DUB

Wanting to see Cliffs of Moher, hike the Burren, see Bunratty, etc. Does Ennis make sense as base for 2 nights or should we switch to Doolin?

Planning to do Slea Head and explore the peninsula and Killarney National Park/Gap of Dunloe. Should I flip Dingle to 2 nights and Killarney to 3 nights? Or drop them down to 2 nights each (and potentially use 1 night to split drive from Killarney to Dublin)?

Would Killarney to Dublin (maybe with stops at Rock of Cashel and Kilkenny) be good to do in one day?

Are 3 nights In Dublin okay? Or should I cut to 2 nights (and potentially use 1 night to split drive from Killarney to Dublin)?

Many thanks! Looking forward to experiencing Southern Ireland!

Congratulations on your wonderful trip!

First of all when are you going and I am assuming you have a car?

Assuming you will not be there in peak summer:

2 nights Doolin

2 nights Dingle

3 nights Killarney

1 night Kilkenny

2 nights Dublin

Thanks for the input, Sunny!

Our trip will be from March 28 to April 7 and we do have a car reserved with My Irish Cousin.

A few years back we spent two weeks in Scotland and absolutely loved it. We have been wanting a similar feel to that trip and I think Ireland will definitely check all the boxes!
