Feedback on where to stay in Dingle

I am trying to decide between staying at the Captain's House in the Rathlin suite or renting the cottage from Eileen Collins Kirrary B&B which is a couple hundred yard up from town. Has anyone stayed in either of these place and can you give me feedback on it. Thanks!!

Kathy,

I don't have any comments to offer on the two places you mentioned. I stayed in the Alpine Guesthouse in Dingle, and I'd definitely recommend it. It's a family run operation, the rooms are comfortable and they serve a great breakfast. It's a very easy walk from the guesthouse to the main part of town (under 5 minutes as I recall).

I don't know either, but I would agree with Ken that I liked being within walking distance to the town center. That way we left the car at our B&B when we went into town and didn't have to worry about parking. We stayed along the road out of town so it was more like 10 minutes' walk but still very easy.

We loved Dingles First Cottage by the sea B&B. It's delightful, family owned, close to town, and directly on the water (the waves actually sprayed our car in the small parking area). Barb

I don't know of either of these.

My wife was referred to the Lighthouse B&B by a member here on the helpline.

It is about a 10 minute walk into town. It sits up on the hillside with a gorgeous view of Dingle Bay. Denis and Mary are awesome hosts. They have had the place for over 20 years. It's also a great place to start the famous "Slea Head" drive.

I'm sure there are others but this is where we always go back.

Have a great time!

We stayed at the Tower View, and got a great view room. We loved the people, Bfasts!, and location (10 minute walk to town along the waterfront sidewalk). Vet any place that you are considering on Trip Advisor.
