My husband and I will be spending the day in Dublin on a layover to Greece. We will be doing the hop on, hop off bus. Any suggestions on a good place for breakfast and dinner?
How about O'Neills'? Great location, great food, typical "Pub" experience!
Murray's is our favorite! Great food, drinks and great service.
For a healthy breakfast or brunch-type meal, The Farm is wonderful. I believe there are two locations in Dublin; we ate at the one on Dawson St. which is near St. Stephen's Green.

We didn’t find the Farm to be exceptional. Nothing wrong, just no wow. We did really enjoy Searsons.
The Brazen Head pub has great food, we also really enjoyed Gallagher's Boxty house as well as Cleaver East which is in inside the Clarence Hotel.
We had a really nice dinner at Brookwood -between Merrion Square and St Stephens Green
LOVED Matt The Threshers. Off the beaten path, and amazing sea food!
Also - Lemon Crepe for wonderful crepes of any kind and a good, strong coffee.
I was going to mention Lemon, but someone beat me to it! It is by far my favorite breakfast in Dublin and it is very high on the list of my favorite breakfasts anywhere. I recommend it to anyone visiting the city.
Loved our dinner at http://oconnellsrestaurant.com/ . Address is 134 Morehampton Rd, Donnybrook, Dublin, . Loved the atmosphere and the great fresh food.
We ate twice at Brannigan's off of O'Connell street and it was really good. Small pub. Best fish and chips I had in Ireland and the Guinness stew was fantastic. Went there on the recommendation of a bus driver we passed while walking down the street. Glad we took his advice.
This is unusual, but we've enjoyed finding unique restaurants near a bus route and using our Leap card to go a ways out of town. On two separate trips we've gone to Veda, an Indian restaurant about 45 minutes on the bus south of the Temple Bar area.
