I am just beginning to explore a week long trip to Ireland. A main stop would be my grandmother's birthplace/house in NW Ireland. I am trying to get as many family members onboard with this idea as possible. Due to time constraints, a week in June is probably our greatest chance of giving everyone an opportunity to participate.
I thought about hiring a guide/driver. Has anyone done this? Any suggestions? Thank you.

Should help with your research.

This company was mentioned in another thread on Ireland. The owner is a former Rick Steves guide in Ireland, and can customize a tour to your desire. I have no personal experience.
www.cietours.com is a large Irish company that offers all kinds of tours, and there is something on finding your heritage tours.
Thank you for the great resources you recommended. I am exploring each. I appreciate your time and efforts!
