I have been informed that the paper Pound Sterling notes have all been recalled and will be worthless after next month. One of my daughters is in Northern Ireland on holiday now. I gave her 450 pounds to exchange for the new notes. She reports that banks there will not do the exchange.
Can anyone give me some ideas where she can exchange them? That is quite a bit of money to just loose.
Although there are very few stillm in circulation, they are still legal tender until the end of September - so can she spend them?

You should change the word “worthless” with “obsolete.” As mentioned in your other thread, they retain their value. Beginning 1 October you’ll need to exchange them for the new bills at the Bank of England, London. In the meantime, spend them.
