I am traveling to Ireland in 6 weeks, at the end of October into November and wonder if anyone has any recommendations for a horseback riding experience. I'm interested in riding several hours each day out in the countryside, not looking for lessons/riding in a riding arena. I realize that this time of year isn't great, but this is when I am able to travel. Thank you!
You can look at Castle Leslie. They do based rides, instead of point-to-point. I did not ride there. It’s been 30 years since I rode in Ireland.

I just did a Google search and found this website. Don’t know anything about it but it might give you options. https://www.irelandequestriantours.com/
I'm not a horse rider, but have been doing some googling instead.... If you enter Horse Riding Sligo, Horse Riding Westport, or Horse riding Donegal, it throws up various different stables that offer what you are wanting. The following list isn't anywhere comprehensive, but will give you a start. (I've no idea what they are like or whether they will be open October/November... )

Thank you for your replies. I appreciate it very much. I had seen a couple of these possibilities, but not all of them and will explore them further. If anyone else has a recommendation based on a personal experience I would love to hear from you. Thank you!
