It has been a while since Ennis was brought up. We will be in Ennis the day before we pick up our tour. Are there any suggestions for site seeing, music and food while we are there before the tour?

We were there a couple months ago on RS BOI tour. The Old Ground Hotel has a "Poet's Corner" pub which was very nice and traditional. Has music some nights. Go out the door to O'Connell street, turn right, and there are lots of pubs and restaurants. We went to Dan O'Connell's Pub, very nice, traditional pub, couple blocks further, on Abbey Street. Say hi to Ogham the hotel cat, for us.
