We will be on the 6 day RS tour and arriving early in Ennis, from past tour folks or others looking at insight of what to do with a free day different than what you do on the tour? Thank you

I did that tour but stayed in Galway pre tour. What a fun city and you can easily do a day trip from Ennis using the bus. About and 1 hour and 20 minute ride. Galway bus station is easy walk to the main tourist area and the Ennis bus station was close to the tour hotel.

Thank you for the info. It will be a long day before going from Dublin to Ennis. Flights to Shannon was pretty expensive so going to be a long day before so think we will stay local. I wish we could go to Galway
