EES does not apply to Ireland as it i not part of Schengen.

But to add to the alphabet soup, if your trip to Ireland includes a foray into Northern Ireland, you will need an ETA for the trip, but not at immigration.

I went thru Dublin yesterday at 12:00. Besides the wait for luggage, it went very quickly.
