We just arranged for a very good guide for one day at 300 pounds for 6 of us. how much do we tip them?

You might post this on the Scotland site instead of Ireland. I do think a lot depends on whether the guide is an employee of the company or the owner and how good the tour was. Just my thoughts as have not used one in Scotland.
