We plan to be staying with a friend in Dublin over Easter weekend, which happens to fall within our trip. Should we look to venture out on our own a bit over the weekend (any time Good Friday through Easter) what are any holiday-related closures we should worry about on any of the three days?
You should be fine, Ireland changed our licensing laws last year (All of our our pubs, and a lot of restuarants where forced to close on good friday, in previous years) but now its business as usual.
If you are using public transport, some buses and trains may operate on a reduced service (similar usually to a sunday timetable).
Some larger supermarkets also close for Easter Sunday, other than that you should be fine.
Enjoy!
