Easirent

Just used them in mid September. We booked a Ford Fiesta which was unavailable at pickup but they upgraded us without charge to a slightly larger virtually new Alhambra. They will, without charge pick you up and drop you back off at Shannon Airport. They were friendly, courteous and very helpful. During our two week rental we had a low tire pressure warning light...their 24 hr customer service handled it without stress....they knew the car model, what was up but still paid for it to be quickly checked at an independent garage in the west of Kerry to ease our mind.

They do ask the car be returned clean or there is a hefty cleaning charge. They didn't abuse this with us, but you will want to watch that. Also the car has to be filled up within six kilometers w receipt provided upon return or there is another charge possible.

Totally hassle free, nice folks and great rates. Upon return in good order they gave us a discount coupon for a future rental as well as car level free upgrade.

Would STRONGLY urge no matter who you use to get full coverage including windshield and tire coverage. Damaging a tire or rim is SUPER easy in Ireland and VERY expensive if you don't have that coverage.

I don't have advice about that particular car rental company but I wanted to second the PP about getting the extra insurance after having a car "adventure" in Ireland. Don't assume your credit card will cover it - many credit cards that have the extra car rental benefit specifically exclude Ireland. There's a reason for that!!
