Any suggestions for activities in or near Dublin with children, ages 3, 6, 8, and 10 years?
How about great day/weekend trips out of Dublin with these kids.

Head north! Go to the Antrim Coast Giant’s Causeway Area. Stop in Belfast for Titanic Experience.

Look at a day trip up to Malahide Castle. Short train ride from Dublin of about 25 minutes or so with an easy walk to the castle grounds from the train station. There is a cool tour of the castle itself that your 8 and 10 yr old might like, but there is also a fairy trail on the grounds which our 7 yr old daughter loved and a playground on the castle grounds too. The town of Malahide is just down the road from the castle and has some nice places to shop and eat, but there is a decent cafeteria/deli type place where you could pick up a nice picnic on the castle grounds that was actually very good. Our family day there in March was great fun!
