Dublin- what is best Hop On Hop Off bus company to go with please? There are so many offered. I see negative comments on some of them as they are not circulating frequently enough every hour. Any suggestions on which general overview Bus Company to ride on to get a good overview of the city and to stop at EPIC and the Guinness tour?

I wouldn't waste money on the HOHO. Dublin is very small and walkable. E.g., we walked from Trinity College to EPIC for a drink before meeting our walking tour by the spire on O'Connell Street. Guiness is a little further afield, but I'm sure you can get there on a city bus.
If you want to take a tour of the city, try this: https://www.vintageteatrips.ie. My friend I took the 11:30 tour for our lunch, and it was a blast. The food was very good (including the gluten-free my friend pre-ordered). The commentary was limited but very entertaining. They mostly left us to enjoy ourselves and the views. Highly recommended.
We used the DoDublin (green bus). The buses follow the same route, it seemed. We only paid for the 24 hour pass. We enjoyed it allot. The tour was enjoyable and gave us lots of suggestions for places to go, eat and drink. I had done lots planning and this tour helped me organize our last two days in Dublin.
Absolutely DoDublin (green bus). Just did it this past weekend. Good route, competitive rate, live narration and drivers are a hoot.
