Dublin two days

My college aged daughter is doing a study abroad program. She has two days in Dublin. Any suggestions. She is not sure what she wants to see.

Kilmainham Gaol is an excellent tour and a good introduction to the history and issues of Ireland, not to be missed, get there early. The Natural History and Archaeological Museums are first-rate, with great displays of Irish crafts, "bog men", and all sorts of other fascinating clues to the Irish past and present. Perhaps a day tour to Newgrange and/or Monasterboice? Or Belfast?
We found the Temple Bar a bit overrated, and I suggest skipping the Guinness tour.

Agree with Dave. Kilmainhaim gaol is our favorite. Skip Guinness and Temple Bar as we found them overrated as well. Also Book of Kells, get there early as well. Enjoyed walking over half penny bridge (spelling?) and go to the GPO for some more history and also try to see Christ Church. We went to Newgrange and Monsterboice (spelling again?) but we had a car. I know you can take a tour to Newgrange by bus but haven't done that so no help there. Suggest hop on hop off bus tour as well. She will enjoy whatever she does.
