We are traveling to Ireland this April in a few weeks - my husband and I and our 10 and 11 year old sons.
What is a good halfway point, or point of interest when driving from Dublin to Liscannor?
Limerick?
We plan to spend 3 nights in Dublin
3 in Liscannor
and 3 in Kinsale
Also looking for good point of interest, halfway place to stop on the Easter Sunday we will be traveling from Kinsale back to Dublin.
Rock of Cashel?
It doesn't have to be exactly halfway, just not too far out of the way.
Also - any must sees around Liscannor and Kinsale. I think we have our Dublin must sees set. For Liscannor area - We plan on doing the Poulnabrone Dolmen, Cliffs of Moher, the Burren, Ailwee Caves and Birds of Prey Center and for Kinsale - Charles Fort, Sandycove hiking, day trip to Blarney castle, maybe Blackrock Observatory, maybe Fota Wildlife park.
