Dublin to Giants Causeway Tour?

Hello, I have been using Viator to find tours that look interesting and then going out to find a "real" tour company to book the tour.
My wife and I would like to do a Dublin to Giants Causeway day trip and I was just wondering if anyone would recommend any of the following company's. Or have any suggestions.

  • paddywagontours.com
  • giantscauswaytours.ie
  • kennedycarr.com/day-tours/giants-causeway
  • irishdaytours.ie/tour/giants-causeway
  • aroundirelanddaytoursltd.rezgo.com/details/46896/belfast-titanic-quarter-glens-of-antrim-coastal-drive-giants-causeway-1-day

Thank you.

Sorry you haven't gotten responses on the tour question. I have not taken any of these, but we found it very easy to rent a car and drive to the Giant's Causeway. We rented through Dan Dooley at the Dublin airport and immediately drove north, stopping at a few places along the way. We stayed at a B&B in Portrush, I think, but it's been a few years. We visited the Causeway, Bushmill's distillery, Dunluce castle (part fell into the ocean one stormy night), hung out at the pub and played pool with the locals. You can't get that on a tour!

It never even occurred to me that renting a car and doing it ourselves might be a good option. Thank you! I will research car rentals and pricing.

I should probably qualify "very easy." You will be driving on the wrong side of the road. My husband is a very capable driver and he found it easy! Your mileage may vary. But that is a fabulous part of the country to be able to navigate on your own. Actually, other than in Dublin, Belfast, Galway, we thought everywhere was easy to drive. We were there in February so few other tourists (thankfully) but it did get dark early so we tried to be parked for the night before it got dark. More time for the pub!

I agree with Celeste. If you are able to rent a car and do Northern Ireland on your own that would be great. I went with a friend and we drove up to Belfast where we stayed for one night and saw some historical sites. From there we saw Giant's Causeway, Dunluce Castle and the Carrick-a-rede bridge. Even if you are not interested in crossing the bridge, which is a small rope bridge connecting to an island, the scenery there is absolutely stunning.
