I know there's a time difference when traveling by bus vs train from Dublin to Galway, but does one or the other provide better scenery along the way?

We just took the train from Dublin to Galway then down to Cork and back to Dublin over 15 days. Scenery was nice between Dublin and Galway, with farmland and some towns. Not maybe the stunning vistas of the southwest coast or north, but pleasant.
