Greetings! Is it feasible to take the train from Dublin to Belfast & spend one day there (very early train to Belfast, return train to Dublin around suppertime) or is it really better to at least overnight one night.
Going in October, cannot wait!!!

I don't see why you can't do a turn around from Dublin - Belfast. If I remember correctly, It's about a 2 hour train ride each way.
As Dave mentioned, the Belfast City Hall tour is really neat.

Joel is correct, a bit over two hours. We went up in the morning and were back by 19:30. A great day, don't miss the free City Hall tour in Belfast, it's a lovely building with some history.
