Dublin Taxis

I’m wondering if there is a preferred/more economical taxi option from the Dublin Airport.

We took the airport bus into town (recommended by Rick Steves). Uber in Dublin uses taxis but charges go through your Uber app. No savings over taxi.

Taxis from the airport are all metered.
