Looking for opinions on whether staying at Clontarf Castle is a good choice for sightseeing in and around Dublin for two days.

Susan, looks like Clontarf is a very a nice place to stay, but with two days I'd be inclined to pick something a little closer in to the city center. There are lots of great things to see in Dublin, so for me it's a question of how best to maximize your time.
We really enjoyed the Kilmainham Gaol tour, the Archaeology and Natural History Museums, Saint Stephens Green, and just walking around.
